In Lincoln, NE where I live bicycle commuting has been pushed the last 2-3 years and it’s working.  Lincoln was already a huge bicycle commuting city but even more so now.  I find that commuting year-round by bike relieves stress, provides for a better quality of life and is super easy on the transportation budget.

The idea that one can’t commute because they need to wear nice clothes or they don’t want to be sweaty is a falsehood, before my Dad retired he commuted by bike to work and within an hour of getting there he has someone heart open operating on them…Anyone can do it, you just have to want to.
