A Four Cup A Day Campaign

The lengthy GOP primary has kept teams of reporters trailing the candidates for months, and they’re relying on lots of caffeine to keep them going. A four-cup-a-day fix is about the norm, according to reports. That’s a lot of Joe, but a habit like that might have benefits besides helping to meet a deadline. Too bad the price of coffee is up almost 20 percent!

    That much coffee is good for you, assuming it isn’t accompanied by cream, sugar, etc. There’s a growing amount of scientific research showing people who drink a lot of coffee daily have lower amounts of depression, alzheimer’s, dementia, prostate cancer, and some other things I’m leaving out. Researchers think the coffee bean contains antioxidants that are beneficial to the human body.

    I hope the candidates and their supporters are drinking ethically-sourced coffee. It is a market-based solution for all kinds of issues, including immigration. (For those who consider immigration a problem, that is.)
