Surely, there must be a way of making these things without stooping to the candy (Reeces).
I think there must be, too, and I plan to fool around and come up with it. I had hoped to before the book came out, but just ran out of time under deadline (not meaning to sound lame or make excuses… I did spend 6 years on the book as it is!) , so I ran it just as it was given to me. But, I hear you. If I succeed, I’ll have it in another book or on my website or blog or something, I promise. A minor interim improvement in healthfulness: use the Newman’s Own organic peanut butter cups, cut up.
