First Radiohead live on the Colbert Report, now mashup artist Titus Jones has sampled Tom Ashbrook from a 2009 On Point show in the opening bars of his new album Culture Shock.

What’s a mashup? It’s a collection of songs and sounds — from the found to the famous– piled atop each other and mixed to create a new track. Jones has our Tom in there along with Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce. A “mashed-up musical world” indeed.

We’re glad to be in the mix, Mr. Jones.
