    It’s fascinating to listen to Mr. Vidal from 10 years ago.  It’s also ironic to listen to the possilbe effects of the Bush budget from 2003, from a 2012 viewpoint.

    Thank you for sharing this interview.  Gore Vidal is an absolutely charming and unique American intellectual.  I understand that he can bother some who don’t agree with or don’t understand his ideas… but I really appreciate that you shared his interview anyway.  After all, if we are too afraid to have controversial public conversations… then what is the point of having free speech.
